I came to throw the square hat, eventually

The people always asked me "Why I chose to study in England?" This question always makes me laugh and I'm answering "Do you really want to know the reason? Honestly?

The main reason for me studying in England was to have the lovely graduation party and the graduation ball. I don't want to go into depth but I will get really excited before I get to throw my square hat in the air. :) This makes them laugh and they sometimes don't believe me but it is the truth. Laura and Hannah are my witnesses, get in touch with them.

I could have studied somewhere else in the world, so why do I study in England? I know why! Because of the nice people from UK who I met while I was travelling.

Best goal in my entire football career

It was my third match for Fat Cat and I played again in the first 11. I still had problems with my groins from thursday. In this match I didn't play that well I holded back a bit. But it was this moment when I took the ball and put it outisde of the 18-yard box. This guy Ben is he called he said "Toby you know you have pressure!" I thought "stop talking to me, mate!" I took a run-up and bent the ball over the defensive wall. The ball hit the corner of the goalpost with an incredible speed. I got substituted 5 minutes afterwards what was alright because I didn't want to hurt my groins anymore. We finally won this match 5-1.

Nottingham Forest vs. FC Middlesbrough

Today I went to my first football match in the UK. It was freezing but I really enjoyed it though. I went with my course and flatmates. Kick-off was 7:45pm. In the first half nothing really happened and in one moment we thought about going home because it was too cold and the game was boring. Forest suddenly scored and we decided to stay and the match was getting better. The final score was 2-0 and Forest should have scored few more times but they didn't. I was kind of dissappointed because there was no atmosphere like fan chants. @Michi I can imagine you playing for Nottingham Forest.

Caught a f**ing thief

Last night my flatmates and I went out as usual. On our way to "The Forum" we saw this lad passed out on the floor in front of McDonalds. He was so drunk and therefore couldn't walk anymore. No one really cared about him and then the following happened:

This obviously poor woman picked up his wallet and started running away. We were all kind of confused but I realised straight away that this boy got mugged. Jack and I started running and we took up the pursuit. There was a moment when I thought we lost her but I followed my instinct and finally caught her. I saw her running into a dark alley and then she was gone. Jack stopped but I walked carefully into this alley and found her hiding behind a bush. She stretched her hand to me with the wallet and seemed very scared. With extreme care I called her to give me the wallet and it only lasts her a million of a second to hand me his wallet. I grabbed it and left as quick as I could. Jack and I went back to return the wallet.

This wasn't the best start for a night out but after all we made the best of it and had a lot of fun in "The Forum".

Coursework & Mates

In our lecture we had to find ourself into groups. In my group are the following lads: Marco, Ross and Elliot. They are all really nice and I guess we will have a good time together either for studying and partying. We met each on Saturday to start writing our report. But first of all we had English breakfast. It was yummy but then instead of writing our report, we were just lazy.
